1. Acceptance of Terms
By using Hookest or creating an account, you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree with them, please do not use the Service.
2. What Hookest Is
Hookest is a research library of short-form videos and ads that were published publicly on social platforms, organised so that you can study how their opening seconds hold attention. Hookest is an independent product and is not affiliated with, endorsed by, or sponsored by any social platform.
3. Accounts
You need a valid email address to create an account, and you are responsible for keeping your password confidential and for activity that happens under your account. Accounts are personal; please do not share your credentials. You must be at least 16 years old to sign up.
4. Use of the Service
You may browse the library, save hooks, and apply what you learn to your own content and campaigns. You may not scrape or bulk-download the library, use automated clients against it, copy it to build a competing product, resell access, or attempt to bypass access controls and security measures.
5. Third-Party Content
The videos, images, captions, account names, and music shown in the library belong to the people and brands who created them, and are presented for reference and commentary. A hook you see here is not yours to republish — what you are free to take is the technique behind it, adapted with your own footage and words. You are responsible for whatever you publish.
6. Takedown Requests
If you are a rights holder and believe material in the library infringes your rights, email us with a link to the item and proof that you own or represent the work. We review these requests seriously and remove content promptly where the claim is valid.
7. Intellectual Property
The Hookest name, the interface, the way the library is organised, and the analysis we write belong to us or our licensors. These Terms give you a personal, non-exclusive, revocable right to use the Service, and nothing more.
8. Trend Data & No Guarantees
Trend stages and performance indicators shown on Hookest are derived, approximate signals based on limited public information — not figures measured inside anyone's ad account. Use them to compare and prioritise, not as verified analytics. Nothing on Hookest is business, financial, or legal advice, and no result is promised.
9. Availability
The Service is provided on an "as is" and "as available" basis. We add, change, and remove features, and the library changes constantly as content is added or taken down. We cannot guarantee uninterrupted access.
10. Limitation of Liability
To the fullest extent permitted by law, we are not liable for indirect or consequential damages, lost profits, lost data, or the outcome of campaigns you run based on what you found here. Nothing in these Terms excludes liability that cannot lawfully be excluded, and if you are a consumer your statutory rights are unaffected.
11. Termination
You can stop using Hookest at any time and ask us to delete your account. We may suspend or close an account that breaches these Terms, and will normally warn you first unless the breach is serious or repeated.
12. Governing Law
These Terms are governed by the law of the country in which the operator of Hookest is established. If you are a consumer, this does not remove the protection of the mandatory law of the country where you live.
13. Changes to These Terms
We may update these Terms from time to time. The date above reflects the current version, and we will notify you of changes that materially affect your rights before they take effect.
